India is a very old and complex country. It is one of the oldest and greatest civilizations in the world covering a span of approximately 5000 + years. It is a land where the history rewinds itself and brings ahead an image that surprises you with the timeless magic of historic fervor. It is the land where history repeats itself and Indians are proud to be an Indian. It is the land of adventurous sports and soft lilting heart throbbing music. It has eternal rivers to majestic sea in itself. Blazing deserts to golden beaches; lovely lakes to eye-catching waterfalls; shimmering sands to rippling waves blows the minds of the visitors who visits India.
There are a number of beautiful, majestic and superb eye catching places in India which will make visitors to get in love at first sight. Each place is unique in itself. A tourist has to decide what he/she want to see among places to see in India – architectural wonders or spots of scenic beauty; places of historical interests or wildlife sanctuaries rich in flora and fauna?
As we have discussed about some of the Great Monuments in India and will discuss more about them in our next articles, it has been clear that India is land of heritage monuments. Monuments are the main strength of India tourism and India is proud about them. Also For the monuments lovers, Rajasthan can be more fascinating because entire Rajasthan is jeweled with magnificent forts and palaces.
Perhaps one of the most enticing and superb monuments and star attraction of is the world famous Taj Mahal. This magnificent love monument and world heritage was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The majestic Taj Mahal is situated on the bank of Yamuna River in Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
