He launched his label ‘Manish Arora’ in 1997 and jumped for retailing in India. He was the one who represented India at the India fashion week in the year 2000 and participated at the first ever India fashion week that held in New Delhi. This gave him a good start in the fashion industry and then after he never looked back.
He is a top fashion designer and a creative entrepreneur who has given life to his vision by creating different outfits. His hard work and determination made him touch the sky and today he is one of the top most fashion designers of India.
Manish has drawn inspiration from the mysterious of space for his fall winter collection. His collection is superb and has all the stiff and glossy fabrics like Lurex, satin, velvet, leather, wool and Varanasi silk printed with metallic or luminescent dyes that attracts his customers at the first sight.
Manish’s garments usually uses bright as well as contrast colors. They have a black base with bright colors over them. According to Arora apart from the garments, the make- up, hair-do and shades are the stars of the show.
The success of 1st label of Manish made him launch his second label Fish Fry. This time Manish showed his collection in the six leading cities of India and was also stocked at Lord and Taylor, New York 2002.
Manish being successful in the fashion world opened his first flag ship store ‘Manish Arora Fish Fry’ in New Delhi. His second flag ship store was in the commercial capital of India.
Manish Arora got a great chance and he collaborated with Reebok to design a collection of shoes under the brand Fish Fry for Reebok. “Indian by Manish Arora” is a brand specially designed, keeping in view the growing Indian market for women’s wear. This brand is licensed to another reputed fashion company.
